After Pink Floyd wrapped up the tour for their album Meddle, they met and settled on the idea for a new project - an exploration of life and how it can drive us to insanity. Over the span of a year Pink Floyd would create, refine and master this new material on the road and in the studio before releasing it on March 1st, 1973. That album was The Dark Side of the Moon. Fifty years later, the album still lives and continues to inspire listeners everywhere.
