This is a record of a test on a 25 amp triple pole RCD using a Metrel multifunction tester to execute an automatic sequence of 8 tests. These tests are at 30mA trip time on positive & negative cycles, 150mA trip time on positive & negative cycles, 15mA trip time on positive & negative cycles and actual mA trip valve for positive & negative cycles. Testing specification requested was BS7671, 18th edition IEE wiring regulations, but this goes beyond the minimum testing requirements.
