Although juvenile, their initial take was addictive, it was so strong i thought it was a bigger species of trevally! What a cute critter. It was caught on the prototype MMSB Gomu No Aji, proving it's strength in luring fish. We made our way to marina barrage as it was rain. Rain keeps pouring down Singapore! The dam releases water and this will attract a lot of pelagic to enter the proximity, we knew this once they released water, we were right. It was NON STOP ACTION! Note: Do not attempt to fish at the embankment area, it is highly discouraged by security & the PUB staff due to the posing risk of falling & slipping off the edges. The current there is extremely strong and dropping down the slope is a one way ticket. Fish caught were released back to where we caught them. In order to keep the underwater ecosystem healthy, anglers & fisherman should only take what is necessary. Letting these predators dwindle in numbers will affect the price of fish commodity.
