West Maui Driving Tour, From Honolua Bay to Lahaina

This Ultimate West Maui Driving Tour takes you through beaches, neighborhoods, resorts, and condo areas across the west side of Maui. It’s designed to help you understand how West Maui is laid out, how the areas connect, and what it actually feels like moving through them in real time. This video is especially helpful if you’re planning a visit, considering a move, or trying to get a better sense of West Maui beyond just photos. We start by driving west, with our first stop at Honolua Bay, followed by DT Fleming Beach. From there, we continue into Kapalua, where we explore the area around the Montage Kapalua Bay and take a closer look at Kapalua Bay Villas. The tour then moves through Napili, highlighting different parts of the neighborhood, before continuing south into Kahana, where we pass several condominium complexes and local businesses. We stop for lunch at Captain Jack’s inside the Sands of Kahana, then continue through Honokowai and into Kaanapali, passing Honoapiʻilani Park along the way. As the weather changes and rain rolls in, we make one final stop in Kaanapali at the Drums of the Pacific show at the Hyatt Regency, before finishing the tour at Lahaina Shores.
