First conceptualized in Fall 2018, the ENR2 Rooftop Photovoltaic (PV)+ Project on the University of Arizona main campus in Tucson, Arizona is the epitome of using campus as a living laboratory. This innovative renewable energy project combines solar panels with a green roof and the cultivation of plants to create an “agrivoltaic”, or PV+, system.
