The 87MKII is our interpretation, after doing years of research, of this legendary guitar sound. Alex Beyrodt, the founder of GuitarSlinger, has been working with Producer Keith Olsen, who recorded and mixed many multiple Gold and Platinums albums, and was able to listen some of the original 80's recordings Keith recorded and mixed in Good Night LA Studio at the time. Together with famose engineer @Santiago Alvarez, who is responsible for legendary Marshall Amps such as the Malmsteen, Slash, Satriani Signature amps and also the JVM series, Alex and Santiago created this High-Gain Distortion pedal, sharing the love for this particular sought after monster guitar sound.
