DIY Fabric Texture: Honeycomb Smocking || Fabric Manipulation

Hey beautiful people! In this tutorial I showed how to make fabric texture using Honeycomb Smocking technique. This technique is easy but, requires a lot of time and patience. Fabric I used: Linen (Red); I attached interfacing (white) to make the fabric thicker. I started with a 12” X 6” fabric and the end result was approximately 4” X 6”. So, you need to take at least 3 times wider fabric than your desired width. For example, you want to make a cushion cover measuring 12’’ X 12”; take a fabric measuring at least 36” X 12”. Still I’ll suggest trying on a small fabric because, the measurement can vary depending on the fabric’s elasticity. 👍Thumbs up and share with your friends if you enjoyed and find it helpful.
