Rules: 1. Only the designated challenge pokemon can be used in battle 2. No Evasion Moves and Sleep Talk. 3. No Items in Battle, except Held items 4. No itentional use of glitches, exploits or anything similar that grants a huge bonus on the final speed 5. No hidden power 6. All pokemon have perfect DVs 7. The Sudowoodo Skip is allowed 8. Sprout Tower is mandatory 9. Pokemon are measured by in game time 10. No Bike 11. One Hit Moves are not allowed 12. Each Reset adds a time-penalty of 30 seconds to the final time. Explanations: 1* There will be HM Mules in the party. Whenever they are switched in in a battle, the designated challenge pokemon has to be brought back immediately. 2* Evasion is just too powerful. I try to complete the runs without it. Kinda the same goes for Sleep Talk. When it is not possible to clear a run without evasion moves or sleep talk, i will try to use them at level 100. I'm not 100% sure on Sleep Talk yet. 3* Items in Battle too stronk. 4* I will avoid glitches as far as i can. Whenever a glitch happens unintentionally and i realize it i will reload to the last save. 5* I find hidden power just grants way too much coverage. While you could say its part of the game i dont like the idea that a water pokemon can learn a bug attack to get insane coverage. Also i want you to be kind of able to reproduce these runs, which most likely includes someone not being able to manipulate the dvs. 6* Yeah i just said i the last sentence from 5. But in the same way i want each pokemon to be as comparable as possible. This also includes to have the same DV values on every pokemon, even though it is not super trivial to manipulate them still. 7* This series is about how fast you can beat the game with a specific pokemon. So if a pokemon is powerful enough to perform the skip, we will do it. If it isn't, it needs to take the long way. 8* Honestly i want to have flash on every pokemon. No way i'm gonna remember all the pathes w/o flash. 9* I choose ingame time because there will be a lot of player errors. I dont want to restart a whole run when i forget to catch a hm pokemon, when i forget to pick up an important hm or do a major misplay. This also includes that resets are not really that important for my run. It is about speed, not about mastering each run individually. 10* Moving in the overworld at 4x speed is already challenging enough. Disallowing the bike completely just creates a fair playground for each run.
