After being stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) since June, two astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, will return to Earth next year via a SpaceX capsule. NASA switched their transport from Boeing's Starliner due to safety concerns following thruster failures and helium leaks during the Starliner's first crewed test flight. The SpaceX Dragon capsule successfully docked with the ISS and will remain there until February. Wilmore and Williams, originally set for a week-long mission, will now spend over eight months in space.
