Diversity: Gibraltar has come a long way, but still has a long way to go says Equality Minister

The Minister for Equality has highlighted how far Gibraltar has come in terms of diversity, although, she said there's still a long way to go. Speaking at the launch of 'Pride Month' on Thursday night, Samantha Sacramento said there was no excuse for anyone on the Rock to feel excluded because of who they are and or their sexuality. In her address she said she was proud of the contribution her Government had made regarding progress on diversity and how this goes hand in hand with enshrining rights in legislation.. The Rainbow flag is flying over the Rock with the Equality Minister highlighting the importance of awareness. The more people who talk about the issue, she said, the more who will be enlightened and the easier it will be for people to fit in.
