VR Dental Surgery Simulator (DentalSim) with Haptic Feedback & Eyetracking using Unreal Engine

Institute for Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality at the University of Bremen http://cgvr.cs.uni-bremen.de/ Showcasing my dental surgery simulator by preparing the tooth #26 on the upper jaw, through the mirror. Note: I am a layman, and only want to show the simulator capabilities, I only practiced this procedure inside my simulation and once in reality on the lower jaw. The simulator uses the following technologies: Unreal Engine 4.27: Graphics Metahuman Haptic Device Registration using VR Controller Custom C++/CUDA library: Haptic feedback at ~2000 Hz Material removal at ~2000 Hz Tooth surface generation at ~10 Hz Drilling sound synthesis SRanipal C++ SDK for the eyetracking (UE plugin is slow & inaccurate)
