Today we will explore Hong Kong's increasingly global impact on what we now know as the 'action film'. CORRECTION: I made the unfortunate mistake of combining the experience of Yuen Woo Ping and his brother Yuen Cheung-Yan in my mind, and crediting Cheung-Yan's work on Charlie's Angels to Woo-Ping. This is an incredibly unfortunate error, and one made simply through the short-hand I have in this realm, so on this occasion not doing the best due diligence and mistrusting my own memories of what I have learnt in the past. Making these has been a long process outside of my full-time work, and often late into the night, which is not an excuse, but something of an explanation. I strive to check my research, and so this is something I am very disappointed to have let get through. Both work together often and have very similar styles in their work, but still, I apologise to Yuen Cheung-Yan, and to the viewers of this video for the error.
