How to Test Your Terminator - Jason Huggins – Creator of Selenium, Co-founder Sauce Labs, Founder Tapster Robotics Abstract The good news and bad news about working in the technology industry is that things are always changing, often in scary new ways. Sometimes new technologies remain only interesting curiosities, while others become the dominant platform for getting things done. And it’s at that moment that our tools and processes have to adapt or be pushed aside. In this talk, Jason will talk about one potential platform technology, augmented reality, and its implications for tool makers and testing professionals. Bio Jason is a co-founder of Sauce Labs and the founder of Tapster Robotics. He started the Selenium project in 2004 at ThoughtWorks. He later joined Google to work on large-scale web testing for Gmail, Google Maps, and other teams. He left Google to co-found Sauce Labs as CTO to create a cloud-based Selenium service. In late 2013, Jason took leave from Sauce to help with the HealthCare.gov turnaround. He is also the creator of Tapster, a mobile app testing robot that’s been featured in Popular Science, Wired, TechCrunch, and the MIT Technology Review.
