Artiq is a London-based international art agency specialising in art rental, consultancy, bespoke commissions, and comprehensive art procurement and management services for clients around the globe. We work with emerging to mid-career artists, promising not just exposure but fair pay every time we show their work. Our partnership with Renaissance Foundation, a London-based youth charity dedicated to bringing hope and empowering young people facing challenges, has been ongoing for many years. Our team has actively participated in workshops and various initiatives to support their work. When the charity moved into its first permanent space in the crypt at St Botolph without Aldgate, they approached us to commission an artist for a bespoke, permanent mural designed to celebrate the young people and their achievements. Carlos Peñalver is one of our long-standing creative collaborators, and his narrative-driven and intuitive approach to drawing was a perfect fit for this commission.
