The Spikes-Spider Easy ALPINE PRO is a development of the ALPINE PRO commercial snow chain; the ALPINE PRO is widely acknowledged to be the most complete 4x4 and light commercial snow chain system available – fastest to fit and remove, suitable for limited clearances (both behind and above the wheel), resizable, rust free, and of course with outstanding performance. The Easy ALPINE PRO has all the same features but, instead of being fitted to a pre-fitted hub plate, is fitted to two unobtrusive fix clips. There are only 5 different sizes and, with at least 220mm of adjustability, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to take these chains from vehicle to vehicle, making them exceptional long term value. All parts are available as spares, and worn components are easily replaced. To fit - Please search the included tyre table and choose the correct setting for your tyre, either I /M /O. Adjust the chain size to fit your tyre. There are three chain lengths - Long, Medium or small. When resizing you must remember that each quadrant needs to be the same formation. After adjusting the size of the chain, push in the eight plastic protection clips. Make sure that the flat side of the protection clip is on the inside of the chain, between the tyre and the chain. To find out the appropriate spacer combination for your tyre, use the distance indicator. Pull the tab out and insert on top of one of your wheel nut recesses. Push down until the tyre indictor is sat level on the wheel. Whatever number the indicator now reads needs you can now use this to find out what spacer combination fits your vehicle by using the chart on the spacer indicator. You can now attach the appropriate fix clips and spacers to the drive wheels. Fit both chains to both drive wheels and make sure you can get your fingers between the tyre and the chain.
