Carp fishing at Hereford Camping and Caravanning Club site, chasing thirties and battling lost fish! I headed to the Hereford Camping and Caravanning Club site to fish their three-acre lake. It’s home to 20s and 30s, ghost carp, grass carp, and even tench. My session was full of ups and downs and a few losses, a snapped hooklink, and the classic moment of forgetting to hit record on the main camera. But I still managed to land a couple of cracking carp, including a lovely mirror to finish the day. In this video, I break down my simple PVA bag and wafter rig setup, talk about the pros and cons of shop-bought vs homemade hooklinks, and share a real look at the highs and lows of carp fishing. Fancy fishing here? Remember you need to be camping on-site but at £8–£10 a day, it’s a bargain. Have you had issues with pre-made rigs? Do you tie your own? Drop your tips in the comments. Where do I need to fish next, I love for you to drop your recommendations below and I'll add them to our list. =============================== Products & Places shown in this video =============================== ✅ Mill Pond Fishing ↪️ https://urbanhq.co/45wzNBb 📍 The Millpond, Little Tarrington HR1 4JA ▶️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Arriving at Hereford Camping & Caravanning Club Lake 00:29 My carp setup – rods, baits, and PVA bags 01:50 First fish landed on a chocolate orange wafter 02:30 Camera mishap & keeping it real 03:20 Simple rig breakdown and setup tips 05:24 Hooklink snap-off frustration & making your own rigs 09:00 Casting near features & chasing the 30s 12:27 Lost fish frustrations 14:17 Finally landing a lovely mirror carp 16:01 Session wrap-up, lake info & your rig tips
