This is a Jeyi Thunderdock 7 Mini I bought to expand the storage of my M1 Mac Mini from AliExpress. AliExpress products are rarely reviewed in depth and hopefully if you are considering buying this or something similar, this video will help you get a better idea of whether or not it will suit your needs. It works pretty well for this purpose. Main points: -Fan starts up loud when computer turns on, but is usually always silent in day to day use -Thunderbolt features and ports work as expected, NVMe works as expected, can boot off of it, speeds as expected -MUST plug into non included cable and USB-PD adapter to work, cannot work off bus -Can get warm; takes 3 or so watts empty; SSD will increase power consumption -Build quality is generally decent but not perfect -$146 CAD on AliExpress when I bought it I currently still have this device, so if you have any other questions, post them in comments and I can try to answer them.
