How to clean your smoking pipe the right way

After smoking some CBD flower, my little pipe gets so dirty. After a month or so of use, it really starts to build up this black sticky CBD resin. It makes the smoke taste worse and I'm not a doctor, but it certainly can't be healthy having a dirty pipe. How do you actually clean your bong/pipe the right way? Long story short: Use alcohol and salt. Mix a healthy amount of salt in some isopropyl alcohol and go to work. The alcohol will dissolve the CBD resin and take away the stickiness. The salt helps by getting into the small hard to reach places and adds some friction to mechanically remove the CBD ash. Personally, this is the best method I've ever found for cleaning any sort of hemp or cannabis smoking tool.
