Taitao Seeps | SOI Divestream 756
The objective of Dive S0756 is to explore another group of shallow seeps (200m deep) that we believe we have identified at an adjacent area at the head of a canyon located just off the coast of the Taitao peninsula. Whenever there are seeps found, there will be sampling of the fauna, and the gasses and water emanating from the seeps. We will also sample a reference area away from the influence of the seepage. This will be the second of three dives in this canyon.
