This Temple is also significant to Japanese Political History struggle (civil wars) between the Shogunates and warlords. This modern days though this temple is also known as the flower temple or Hydrangea (AJISAI) Temple. If you would like a relaxing walk, quiet/ solemn place, beautiful flowers, history, or a Shinto practitioner this is a perfect place to visit.
