Human–monkey conflict has become an increasingly serious issue in many parts of Nepal. In recent years, especially in the hill and mid-hill regions, monkeys have been causing significant damage to crops. As a result, many farmers are being forced to abandon their farmlands, leaving once-productive agricultural land uncultivated. In this panel discussion, we address this sensitive, complex, and nationally significant issue by exploring the scientific causes of human–monkey conflict and practical ways to manage it. The aim of this discussion is not to blame any individual or institution, but to seek scientific, practical, and sustainable solutions to the growing problem. The discussion features insights from distinguished experts: • Dr. Hari P.
