Meet Phúc, a cheerful 2-year-old from Hung Loi, Vietnam, whose playful energy brings joy to everyone around him. When he was born, his parents were overjoyed, though they faced worry and uncertainty after learning about his cleft condition. Unsure how to care for him or what the future held, they found new hope when they connected with Operation Smile. Traveling over three hours to Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Hanoi, Phúc received care from a dedicated team of medical volunteers. He underwent a successful surgery, his siblings looking forward to seeing his new smile alongside their own. Now, Phúc’s family looks ahead with excitement, imagining a future full of possibilities for him. Through the generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers, children like Phúc are receiving the care they need to grow up healthy and confident.
