Led by board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Melissa Chiang, Integrated Aesthetics offers comprehensive dermatology care to patients of all ages. Dr. Chiang, who has an M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine, is board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology. She has been practicing adult and pediatric dermatology since 2004 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Chiang enjoys helping patients maintain and enhance the health of their skin, including diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions, including acne, alopecia, dermatitis/rash, and much more. Dr. Chiang works closely with her husband, Dr. Young Cho, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. By working closely together, the doctors provide the highest level of comprehensive care in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, dermatology, and non-invasive procedures. Before the Procedure: Before your appointment, remove any nail polish or makeup. Write down any new changes or growths on your skin along with any information on family medical history and any medications you are taking. During the Procedure: You will be asked to remove all of your clothing and given a hospital gown. Dr. Chiang will do a thorough exam of your entire body, taking notes and pictures to have as reference points for future exams. If the doctor is concerned with any lesions or moles, a closer examination or biopsy may be performed. After the Procedure: Following the initial exam, Dr. Chiang may request for a follow up appointment for further removal or treatment of the skin.
