First a big warning: Do NOT switch from RTK to iNavi without checking yourself if the map has stayed with all boundaries on the same place as mapped with RTK. I was told by Mammotion I did not have to remap, but it turned out that the map was shifted 50 cm to the North and 30 cm to the East. Since our land is fully surrounded by water you can imagine where the Luba was headed for...... So after letting it mow, it wanted to mow the border first, which was now half a meter into the canal. After it notified me it flipped over, I found it standing against the bankside it drove off of, into 60 cm deep water. It stood there almost fully submerged for about 15 minutes against the bankside. After lifting it out everything seemed to be still working, it talked aswell to me, but there was a frontwheelmotor communication error what prevented it from me driving it manually by bluetooth. So I had to carry it back. I placed the Luba upright on its bumper to leak out, and in the time I was on the phone with my dealer, and chatting with Mammotion Europe for 1,5 hours, the error disolved itself and the Luba 2 was fully functioning again. Mammotion put a team on it to investigate what went wrong, after I uploaded all logs, maps and serialnumber. They can`t look into my or your app because of privacy. The dealer got in contact with the importer in Holland, so this problem was tackled from all sides. Kudos to all of them for the fast reactions and replies. So my Luba was still working normally, even after being submerged for 15 minutes, the task was still paused so I drove it back to the bankside, started the task again, and I let it finish the whole field, in the rain, after walking alongside the perimeter laps, to see that it wouldn`t dive in again. The next day (weekend, so my dealer was closed) I tried to alter the map and then I found out the border was shifted 50 cm West and 30 cm East. It said so in the left bottom on the screen where you alter the mapping, it would not accept the command to start rerouting if it was not first on the border to begin with. It shows how far you are off. Mondayafternoon I had time to bring it in to the dealer, who had it serviced by tuesdaymorning. So 21 hours after I brought it in it was serviced, dried (there was a little moisture inside) and fully checked. Great service. It is now up to Mammotion to replace this or/and to let me test this machine for endurance after drowning. But they are onto it. So IPX6 is a real USP, it can stand under water for 15 minutes without dying. Do not test how deep it goes though. 😉😉 Luba FTW !! This is the first outer round of our 2804 m2 field. I mapped again with iNavi (during daytime) and the RTK mounted real high, and had it first mow the 372 m2 front lawn. Since it is quiet I can let it mow at night without annoying any neighbours. I walk behind it, so it seems louder, but you can hear the frogs above the mowing noise out, it is deadquiet here at night. Rain was coming in this week and our peatland gets to soggy then, so I had to mow after a few days delay. I walked alongside it to be shure it stayed within the mapped areas, it did, and as expected there were no problems. It started raining later and even then it did not get stuck anywhere. At 3 minutes it comes to the bankside it drove off before. At 5 minutes it comes to another bankside it could fall off. At night it stays good within the mapped area, although around bushes and shrubs the AI, with camera, light and sensors, will keep it a bit away from it to be on the save side. You only hear the mowingdeck, which was a bit clogged because of the wet grass and made therefore a little more noise than clean. Before the switch I had it mow mapped areas with iNavi without RTK installed, and mapped areas with RTK, without iNavi, after I installed that properly. My first map was of the whole terrain what was not handy, so I divided that in 8 areas. I had no problems mowing it though either way. Great machine.
