The same removal and replacement procedures apply to all configurations of the notebook. Before you begin: Remove the recess cover and display enclosure. Removal: Carefully disconnect the battery cable from its connector on the system board and remove it from the adhesive on the right speaker. Disconnect the vibrator motor cable from its connector on the system board and remove it from the adhesive that secures it to the display panel assembly. Important: Make careful note of the placement of the vibrator motor for later replacement. Using a non-marring flat-bladed tool, carefully remove the vibrator motor from the cradle that secures it to the display panel assembly and remove. Replacement: Place the vibrator motor into the cradle on the display panel assembly. Connect the vibrator motor cable into its connector on the system board. Route the vibrator motor cable thru the adhesive that secures it to the display panel assembly. Carefully connect the battery cable into its connector on the system board and apply pressure to it to adhere it to the right speaker. Caution: Improperly installing or replacing parts could damage your HP device or void your warranty. Before replacing any parts, check your warranty.
