Slice of Pie - Jacob and Luke interview poet Michael Isaacs

A group of Pie's young people are turning a poem by local poet Michael Isaacs, who came to Ramsgate Youth Centre - then called Concorde and now Pie Factory Music's home - when he was younger, into a song and music video. When Michael heard about our campaign to #SaveOurYouthCentre he immediately took pen to paper to create a poem expressing just how young people from our past, present and future feel about this purpose-built space being put up for sale. Michael met the group last week as they started to finalise the song and storyboard the music video. He chatted with Luke and Jacob about what the youth centre meant to him and the power of poetry and music in campaigning to save it. Watch the interview here.
