Dynon Avionics—sharpening its competitive engineering edge by advancing an already good interface in the SkyView HDX avionics—added Emergency Glide to the suites automation. The built-in utility that's deeply embedded in the Dyon autopilot is available at no charge through a software upgrade, and intended to tame the workload by flying the airplane in the correct direction and flight envelope for a put-down while the pilot sorts through an engine failure.
