This is a video I put together for my students, who were working on specific ways to practice page 5 on Stick Control by George Lawrence Stone. I reference a document in video that I had sent to them, which had 5 different sections: Section 1 - Play exercises 1-23 either continually or separately. Section 2 - Combine exercises No. 1 & 3, 2 & 4, 5-8,9 & 11, 10 & 12, 14 & 23, 15 & 23 (start on 2nd measure), 16-18, 19 & 21, 20 & 22 Section 3 - Play #1-7 and insert 8th note triplets in-between each beat. Section 4 - Play #1-7 and insert 16th notes (single strokes) in-between each beat. Section 5 - Play #1-7 and insert 16th notes (double strokes) in-between each beat.
