Recording information: Recorded in Brumunddal, Norway during October, November, and December 1992. Comes with a photocopied layout. The tracklist on the back cover of the CD is wrong, switching the order of tracks 05 and 06. Comes with one additional song, track 07 (Roaring Hellfire). -Re-released by Peaceville Records on November 10th, 2023, digital format on Bandcamp, Cd format with 16 page booklet, in 12" vinyl format, gatefold sleeve includes the original iconic early 1990s cover image, and also contains a 12” booklet featuring rare and unseen photographs, plus two double-sided posters. Pressed on white vinyl and another re-released pressed on gold vinyl. All Peaceville re-releases are reissue and remastered and comos with 04 aditional songs, on a diferent sequence: Roaring Hellfire, Lucified, The Watchtower (Darkthrone Cover) and Winter Solstice; Unofficial re-releases: -Re-released Hell Slaughter Records on 2005 tittled "Servants of Sorcery", 12" vinyl format, ltd edition to 500 handnumbered copies. -Re-released Black Storm Division on 2011 tittled "Servants of Sorcery", 12" vinyl format, ltd edition to 500 handnumbered copies. Includes photo cards of the band and an ownership certificate. -Re-released by Hot Records on June 2020 tittled "Servants of Sorcery", CD format. Track list on the backcover of the CD is wrong. It switches the order of tracks 5 and 6. Mexico, Reissue. Track 2 have an error, has recorted song on the first 1:30 minutes. All unnoficial re-releases comes with one additional song, track 7 (Roaring Hellfire). Shagrath later went on to join Dimmu Borgir. The Fimbulvetr (Old Icelandic for "Terrible/Enormous Winter") is an event described both in the Poetic and the Prose Edda whereas, a three-year long winter announces the destruction of the world through Ragnarök.
