My friend T. A. Walker (http://tawalker2.wordpress.com/ and http://tawalker.bandcamp.com) is composing 50 songs in 90 days for the 5090 challenge. Amongst them is a piece of new ITV Schools junction music - a clock tune inspired by the beautiful schools compositions of Johnny Pearson. This is a video I put together to show it off, along with two other pieces of music Tim wrote called Sunnyhills and Summer Ride. In order that the quality of the announcements was up to the standard of the quality of the music I thought I needed professional help. I was lucky enough to be able to call on the professional voice talents of Al Dupres at http://aldupres.com. The TSW caption and TSW programme menus at the start were drawn in Inkscape. The TSW station clock and ITV Schools clock were drawn in Inkscape and animated in Synfig Studio. The Animal Husbandry slide was put together in Inkscape and then "distressed" in The GIMP. The TSW ident was animated by me in widescreen in Blender, using a TSW logo I drew in Inkscape as a starting point. The TSW jingle was composed by Ed Welch. The film of the goats was show by me on a Canon Ixus-65 at Szeged Vadaspark in Hungary. The MJPEG file was "filmised" in Kdenlive, and a caption created in Synfig Studio was then overlaid. Thanks to Rory Clark, Matt Gulliver and Greg Taylor for the videos and scans of real TSW materials I used as source material.
