Haridwar is a place that immediately strikes you, but not only for its spirituality. As soon as you arrive, you're overwhelmed by the chaos: traffic, honking horns, people everywhere, animals moving among the stalls, and dust rising in the air. It's a vibrant city, but also deeply marked by poverty. The streets are often dirty, filled with garbage piled up on the edges, and the smell of the river mixes with that of waste and street food. Near the Ganges, where pilgrims bathe to purify themselves, the scene is intense: on the one hand, devotion, on the other, the harsh reality of daily life. Many people live in corrugated iron shacks or sleep in the open, trying to earn a living by selling flowers, tea, or small items to tourists. Despite the obvious poverty, everyone seems to carry on with incredible strength, an energy that leaves you speechless. Haridwar is a mix of the sacred and the chaotic, beautiful and difficult to look at. It makes you think about how much contrast can exist in the same place: the deepest faith alongside abandonment, hope alongside filth. It's a place you don't easily forget. ENJOY! ATTENTION: These videos are filmed with respect for the local population. From behind the camera, I constantly communicate non-verbally with people. The camera is not hidden, and if I notice any discomfort, I apologize and leave. Except for a few involuntary mistakes (sorry), I only film in public places where ANYONE could be at the time. You will never see footage secretly filmed inside people's private homes. IMPORTANT MESSAGE for those who criticize me while I film my videos: I do not create pollution, flooding, or poverty. I do not have these skills. I have always taken care of taking my trash with me and have helped countless people in need with food and money. Thank you for your attention.
