BGG Game Flowchart File: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/28... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clarifications: Ties are actually broken first if the defender was already blocking the approach. Then #units are compared, then French win by default. Units that defended in a battle do not take retreat losses. Retreat losses are taken by units that did not participate in the battle on top of the losses already taken by units that were involved in the battle. If attacker declares a narrow attack on a wide approach, the attacker chooses which defending unit to turn face down (NOT the defender as stated in the video).
