Charing Cross, London. The recently completed memorial for Nurse Edith Cavell is unveiled. Cavell was shot by the German's during the First World War for helping Allied P.O.W.s escape. Note: according to old records the memorial was unveiled by Queen Alexandra, wife of King Edward VII. "Faithful Unto Death".
