This step shows you how to get rid of the HP Missing or Damage Error message on the HP 934/935 XL Officejet Pro 6230 6830 6835 Officejet 6812 6815 6820 Models. Instruction : You may want to remove the paper clogging the lid sensor to initiate cartridge exchange. Then unclick all of the cartridges from the printer and power the printer off. Re-Clog the lid sensor before powering the printer on. While you power the printer back on, make sure the cartridges are not installed. Once they ring the error message to you, remove the paper clogging the lid sensor and re-click all the cartridges back into place. When completing this CLOG the lid sensor. When you get the "Non-Genuine HP Cartridge" message, you would just press okay to proceed. When you check the ink levels, they will NOT show the "X" on the colors and will be completed. You may need to perform this step 2-3 times in order to get the printer to accept the cartridges.
