POV Power Drift (1988) By SEGA Play Through - Classic Arcade Racer on Modern Sim Gear & POV

Power Drift (1988) Play Through Power Drift was the original kart racing game, long before even Super Mario kart arrived. It was quite rare to find an arcade of it in the UK, so finding one to play nearly 40 years later is nearly impossible. Instead I'm using an emulated version of the acade on my modern sim rig. So here is Power Drift from the 1988 arcade release, emulated through MAME, played on my Moza R12 wheelbase, FSR wheel, CRP pedals and HGP shifter fixed to a Next Level Racing GT Elite sim rig. POV is coming via a DJI Osmo Nano. -- As a lifelong gamer, motorsport fan and occasional karter my gaming history is heavily biased towards racing games. From Chequered Flag on the ZX Spectrum through every major home computer and console since I've played and still own most racing games you care to mention. This love of arcade, simcade and fully simulated racer led me all the way to winning a real world racing driver contract with Racing Prodigy and their incredible e2Real competition. They are on a mission to remove the barriers into motorsport and show that money and age should not stand in the way of the dreams of talented young....and old racers!
