I tried Bordon Factory right after it got rated and I knew I wanted to go for it, despite its gimmicky and learny nature. I admire Bordonn's ability to cook with a level even if the decoration isn't the most prominent feature. In fact, I see the gameplay as the sort of "decorator" in a way. It was quite a long day to learn everything, but eventually things got consistent enough where I could play from 0 and not feel like the worst player ever. Also, since the level currently isn't placed on the AREDL at the time that I am typing this description, I should probably provide some actually reliable and helpful opinions on the level's difficulty. I initially thought it was around top 400 when going through my first practice run, but after completing it I can say that it took the same amount of time to beat New Record as it took to beat this level, but considering New Record is probably a lot less accessible, I think this level should place somewhere at or a little lower than New Record's placement. There were a few inconsistencies in the first half, mainly because of my lack of an understanding on how the different parts worked, but I did figure them out toward the end. The hardest part for me was the first mini wave section after 60% (second drop). Either that or it was the "randomized" "bossfight" at around 45% (specifically a certain permutation of boss attacks at 47% that require the player to spam within a 1.5 block gap between a laser and a wave of moving ground spikes). My favorite part is obviously the worm-shaped corridor at 30% (not biased at all), but I died to all three parts only after I fluked the level from 27 to 81. The spider at 77% is also one of the harder (and definitely learnier) sections. I couldn't find any other completions of this level besides the verification before I completed it, but I will only advertise this video with "[FIRST VICTOR]" when I know for sure if I am the first victor or not... update: i'm not first victor Overall Bordon Factory has a lot of charm and I'm glad it got a rate, since the gameplay was very fun to play through. It appears to be a bit of a more unserious level, containing 2.2 ball creatures with different names. Would recommend for those who like levels that are on the learnier side as there aren't any excessive shaders to throw people off.
