About a month ago I got a new beast mode Windows 10 editing PC. As much as I love it there was one issue I could not find a solution for online - the audio was popping and crackling. Being an audio guy, you can imagine how much this irritated me. I searched far and wide on the internet and almost every article I read went thru the same list but nothing fixed it. Every YouTube video I watched, same thing. In order to fix the sound, I would have to figure it out for myself. It's been nearly 15 years since I was a computer tech and Windows has changed a lot since then so I had to brainstorm. After a few weeks, I finally figured out an easy solution that worked and after nearly 2 weeks, I'm proud to say that I no longer have crackling and popping audio. I hope this fix works for you too.
