If you want a unique play on a Gibson 335 on a budget, this guitar is a great choice. It will really deliver on that hollow body sound and will get you very close to an original Gibson tone, thanks to upgraded pickups. I've taken very good care of it and given it much needed upgrades, mainly to the pickups and the saddle. The only issues I haven't fixed pertain to the pots - they're pretty scratchy, and the tone pot for the neck pickup does not work, which isn't a massive issue... it just means without a fix, you'll be stuck with the tone wide open on that pickup. If you use a volume pedal or don't really utilize volume control in your playing, you'll barely notice. Otherwise, it's really beautiful and I've set it up quite well (I'm a luthier).
