Izuku both purposefully yet unintentionally told them (class 1-A) about middle school shenanigans and Katsuki was honestly surprised because he bullied him (in my AU) because he didn’t want him to suffer like he did, as in so that he (Izuku or Deku) wouldn’t be hated, etc. by people as they’ll feel sympathy for him, etc. not to mention it actually became motivation for Izuku in wanting to become a hero (since he wants to be No.1 and there’s someone competing with him for the title) he (Katsuki) knew Izuku knew about that so he wasn’t expecting him to betray him. In short, in my AU Kastuki’s ‘attitude’ is so that people don’t suffer like he did and still does (being hated, being lonely, etc.). The reason everyone present at the time of the event is surprised because they don’t understand what Katsuki means. But there’s a side to you that I never knew: I never thought you’d betray me this way All the things you‘d say: our friendship, etc. All the games we’d play: the fact that you got One for All. Was me being a fan of All Might just not enough?! But I set fire to the rain: but I still posses more talent than you Watch it pour as I touched your face: people excluded me and hated me the more I got closer to you If you’re wondering what part two means, it’s part two of my Neito Monoma angst video The flashing images are just a visual representation of what Katsuki is talking about and the memories in Izuku’s memory bank about these events since he knows what Katsuki is talking about; in short those flickering images are not visible to anyone and are just visual representations of the lyric’s meaning Some lyrics are not shown as the meaning is the same and the words, ‘my/me/I’ means from Katsuki Bakugo’s perspective. None of these definitions written are the default meaning from the song and are just for the sake of my (me the creator) video.
