COMPTON, Calif., June 8 (KNN) – A car was set ablaze during a protest at the intersection of Atlantic and Alondra Boulevards. The demonstration, which was against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), escalated as law enforcement responded with pepper balls and flashbangs to control the crowd. Protestors are continuing to fill the streets as they face off with deputies. KNN video shows a car driving toward deputies, and that is when deputies shot a flash bang canister at the woman’s vehicle, causing front bumper damage. The woman was then shot at with pepper balls as she raised her window. Demonstrators continued to arrive and attempted to approach the wired-off area.
