Recording a SP-404 MKII → Reel-to-Reel Beat Tape [Akai X-200D] // "Dilapidated Tape" EP

Taking a handful of beats I made on the Roland SP-404MKII and throwing them onto an Akai X-200D Reel-to-Reel tape deck. The audio you're listening to is the playback from tape of this session without any post production mastering. This deck is mid-1970's tech so it definitely has some "personality" it lends to the sound which ultimately helps tie the joints together sonically. To briefly breakdown my workflow thus far, I made all these beats in the Pattern Sequencer, put them all together in a Pattern Chain, then I resampled that Pattern Chain to a pad. BUT, when I did this, I actually did it twice. First I resampled just the drums of the whole beat to a pad then resampled the other layers to another pad....so 4 beats = 2 pads which are Pad Linked together. The left-most row are my drums and the next row are the samples...as you can see by what is orange and what is green, I've assigned the samples to Bus 1 and the Drums to Bus 2. In Effect Settings I have the Buses set to Parallel mode and have no effects on Buses 3/4.
