If you know my story, you know I was single for a lot of years. I understand the discouragement of wondering when or how God will bring the right person into your life. During my season of singleness, I feel like I would have looked at a title like this - "How To Find a Godly Spouse" - and thought, "It's not that simple." Here's the thing: it's not. At the end of the day, all the events in our lives happen according to God's will and timing. If it's not from God we can't force it, if it is from God we can't stop it. At the same time, marriage is a good desire so long as it's not our ultimate desire, and it's not wrong to long for it or want to know how you can find it. Though the Bible doesn't address dating specifically, it does give us principles of wisdom we can glean that apply to godly dating and how to find a godly spouse. In this video, I'm going to be unpacking those principles through a Bible study on Genesis 24.
