Fire Dance (David Shaffer) by Collège Miles Macdonell Collegiate Band

What a project this was! During the suspension of classes due to COVID-19, students from the CMMC music program in grades 9-12 recorded their individual parts for this piece at home. These were then compiled and mixed together to create this virtual performance. This piece was to be the opening number of the music program's Spring Concert. Since that was cancelled, we are pleased to be able to share the piece like this instead. Many thanks to Mike Neale for his time and expertise in creating the video and to Garth Rempel for directing the students and mixing the audio. Participating students are credited at the end of the video. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!
