After the monolithic weight of the last album, “wen jalè jalè gunala”, Alice emerges into this new soundscape still shadowed by black metal's solemn fires, yet luminous with a renewed delicacy, as though each sound had been rinsed in silver light. “nendindalnen” is, in many ways, a descent into softness, but not as a frail concept since its strength lies in its evanescence, in its refusal to anchor itself fully in any singular form.
