#diy #resin #custom #dominoes How to Make a Dominoes Box Using Epoxy Resin Technique: Prep Mold Add mica of the desired color(s) to the resin and mix If doing a two-tone: (IF only using a single color, just add to the mold and skip to the curing part of these instructions) First, add a small amount of one color to the mold (this will help with the marbling effect - if you do not do this, the colors may not blend and appear more separated than marbled) Add a small amount of the second color and slightly swirl it together Add a small amount of the minor color on top of the primary color Add the primary color to cover the bottom of the mold and swirl slightly together Fill the mold with the primary color Cure per manufacturers instructions and demold Use UV Resin to put the box together It is very important to line up the first three pieces of the mold correctly. One side should line up to the bottom rail and one side should line up to the top rail. This will allow the top to be opened on both the bottom and the top. As you align the pieces, place a small amount of UV Resin on the piece and use a UV light to cure them. Add additional UV Resin to reinforce each piece, as needed.
