We’ve harvested around 20kg or more of homegrown, organic tomatoes so far — with plenty more still ripening! 🍅 In this video, I’m sharing three ways I preserve tomatoes for our homestead using simple, traditional methods. I’ve made an Italian-inspired marinara sauce, pizza sauce, and tomato sauce, all using our own tomatoes, homegrown garlic, and dried herbs from the garden. The recipes are inspired by two of my favourite books by Sally Wise and Crystal Schmidt — highly recommend borrowing or buying if you love preserving and seasonal cooking.
