I was trying to get Gragas and I get stuck with Amumu... I always get asked about Jungle Amumu and a common answer I give is that hes good at lower brackets where mechanics may not be as important as I NEVER see Amumu Jungle in my bracket (and when I do, often he gets stomped or carried). I found out why in this game, his ability to not do crap when built as tank (if built AP you can do stuff but it's a far riskier strat, might as well play khazix) on your own despite it being the strongest build. Amumu lacks any real burst when built as tank unlike Gragas/Sejuani and even champions like Zac do more burst damage as tanks. Burst damage is often very useful the higher bracket you get to as opponents actually start reacting faster and faster and won't stand still while Amumu tears up and tells them his life story. Anyhow, at lower brackets Amumu is fine as his mechanics are fairly straightforward and the chances of the opponent playing a early game jungle correctly (pre 6) is very low. How often do you see a good Lee Sin or Reksai who actually plays pre-6 good and go on to stay relevant the entire game is quite rare at lower brackets or else their winrates would be significantly higher. I personally don't like Amumu as it doesn't suit my playstyle to just afk half the fight between my Qs and I prefer Malphite as he can stick to a ADC and slow their attacks down. Amumu is also boring and whines about how he has no friends to his friends which makes them no longer his friends and thats why he has no friends. To hell with Amumu. ALTERNATE BUILD: Cinderhulk/glory into abyssal or frozen heart then liandries for a AP variant, needs the team to follow up as usual but you'll do more damage. Also 21-9-0 masteries if you intend to focus more on AP but I still feel cinderhulk is the strongest jungle item by a large margin so I wouldn't go Magus even then.
