CHECK FOR PRODUCTS USED BELOW _____________________________________ The process we went through to build my friends 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ rear bumper and tire carrier. We used 3/16" plate for the bumper, 2x2x.25" for the frame horn supports, .25" thick plate for the unibody mounts, and an A to Z Fab tire carrier DIY Kit for the hinge/tire mount plate. We also used a Powertec Toggle latch, and spring pin T-handle latch to secure the tire carrier shut/open in it's respective positions.
