Bond Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp 2014

In December each year Bond University plays host to its annual Bond Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp for children with disabilities. Bond University students give up four days of their Christmas holidays so that they can be companions for 25 children with disabilities from around the Gold Coast. The Bond Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp aims to provide the children with a chance to meet new friends and to have some great experiences. We have a busy schedule of swimming, arts and craft, a petting zoo, sailing, a day trip to Sea World, and a lunch time Christmas party to conclude the camp. Equally as important, the camp provides the parents of these children with some much-needed Christmas respite. For all involved, the camp is a truly rewarding experience and is an example of the difference Bond students can make when they engage with the community. This video captures the truly special moments of the 2014 Camp! We would like to again thank all those who were involved in this years camp.
