35mm 4K film scan - 5.1 Dolby A audio FT Depot 5 Year Anniversary Today's offering is believed to be a lost film. This is a teaser trailer to a movie that never got made. It was the result of a couple of very talented young filmmakers who wrote a screenplay for this movie and managed to pull enough funds together to shoot a teaser trailer on 35mm as a means to promote the screenplay. They were so serious about it they even did the sound mix for this teaser trailer at Skywalker Sound! It is unknown who the filmmakers were and no useful info in these regards was printed on the film can or leader. The only known info is that the production company (as noted onscreen) is Opticon Entertainment Corporation. If anyone watching this happens to know who the filmmakers are, please email us so we can attempt to contact them for more info and to give proper credit. This trailer made the rounds in 1988/1989/1990 to some independent film festivals where it was "well enjoyed" and suffered from a lot of poor projectionist handling with scratches and has suffered physical shrinkage and deformity as well. We have restored it as best possible given the source material we had to work with. Check it out, as its one of the best teaser trailers we have ever seen. It fully pulls your attention in, doesn't give away any of the plot, but leaves you wanting to see the movie. This is a brilliant example of how trailers really should be made.
